Videosync 1.1 is out now

We are happy to announce that starting today, you can download Videosync 1.1 from our website, or you can update your existing installation.

For this release, audiovisual artist Tarik Barri, who has collaborated with the likes of Thom Yorke, Nicolás Jaar, Monolake and more, has provided two new exciting devices, Tabula and CropMap.

New features

Videosync 1.1 introduces three new expressive devices:

Tabula

Tabula: Link brightness levels of visuals to custom colors, and trigger them with MIDI notes for unique visual effects

ISFLoader

ISFLoader: Load custom ISF shaders and map up to 16 parameters for immediate access and automation

CropMap

CropMap: Crop, map, bend, and shape your image.

Additional features and updates

Videosync 1.1 also includes additional features and important updates to existing devices:

  • Simpler now supports common image formats, including .jpg, .png and .svg
  • Simpler now has the option to set the envelope duration in milliseconds, or beats
  • Devices with side chain inputs (External In, Displacement, Keyer) can now also route from a track’s Pre-FX, Post-FX and Post Mixer sub routings
  • Full HAP support, including the Arrangement View
  • The installer now ships with a variety of presets
  • Free example projects can now be downloaded from the website
